At a very young age I would sit in my mothers sewing room watching her create the most beautiful garments and designs. Before long, she brought a miniature dress form home for me so I could start designing too.  Mom said my very first design was dress made of toilet paper with a bit of paper towel for texture.

After a childhood filled with Barbie’s and Doll clothes, I eventually grew up and naturally looked to broaden my love for fashion elsewhere.  Fortunately, I received an opportunity to begin a career in modeling, and was able to surround myself with amazing individuals, gorgeous clothing, sexy shoes, big hair and wild make-up. Before I knew it, I was roaming winding broken roads in Athens, Greece, going from casting to casting, and loving every moment of it! One morning, while walking through a local market, I stumbled upon what would turn out to be my inspiration for creating foot lingerie. This inspiration came in the form of a tiny pair of nylon socks, which were basically used to protect women’s feet from the dusty dry climate. Although my first overseas modeling experience eventually came to an end, my true pursuit for a life in fashion had just begun.

Personally, I hate wearing socks, but unfortunately, bare feet are not always the most appropriate (or sexiest) option. My vision for Tootsie Shoppe is to provide a sexy, yet practical, alternative to going bare foot and I believe Tootsie Shoppe foot lingerie does just that! Now, whether I am lounging around my apartment, or wearing heels on a night out, I am always wearing my Tootsies.  It’s the perfect way to complete a matching set of bra and panties.  I hope you enjoy your Tootsies as much as I do!
